About the McKenna Rose Golf Classic
Our History
Our daughter, McKenna Rose, died from Meningitis at only 33 days old…she met heaven on June 23, 2008. McKenna had a very rare form of Meningitis that overtook her innocent body in one short day.
Though her time with us was short, we hold tight to the memories we have of her.
The Tournament
In our search to make something good come from this terrible time in our lives, we continue to host The McKenna Rose Memorial Golf Classic to honor our daughter and to help others. We have been blessed by the tremendous support of our family and friends for over 10 years.
The Cause
The Meningitis Foundation of America is a non-profit organization that focuses on creating public and medical awareness, supporting sufferers of meningitis and their families and supporting research for preventive vaccines and treatments.
